LeddyElfie Leddy lives in West Vancouver, British Columbia. Writing and story-telling have been a part of her life since she immigrated to Canada from Austria as a child.
She has worked in a variety of banking, accounting, marketing, and administrative fields. As an administrator for a self-development center, she wrote metaphysical and self-development course material outlines and honed her understanding of people. She co-produced an Alberta Golf & Leisure Magazine and her poetry is featured in the American Poetry Anthology, A Treasury of Poems, and in a variety of community newspapers in Edmonton.
Elfie teaches private classes in figurative clay sculpting. Inspired by one of her own nude sculptures and the Little Book of Celtic Wisdom, which fell off a bookstore shelf and landed at her feet, Elfie began her first novel, On Silver Wings, in 1997. She has several other fiction and non-fiction titles in production.
Elfie is an intuitive people-oriented innovator and has a strong conviction in the human potential for change through the healing of personal wounds. She believes that self-transformation becomes reality through the expansion of individual consciousness. She expresses her commitment to continued growth with directness and humor in her writing. In spinning her tales, she shares her own understanding of human consciousness and encourages others to explore their own innate abilities and valuable uniqueness.
