Mary Ann JohnstonMary Ann Johnston was born in Michigan to loving parents. However, they were not able to take care of her, so, at the age of two, she was given to foster parents, who guided her early spiritual life.
Around the age of three, Mary Ann learned about Jesus, finding in Him a friend and confidant whom she would hold close to her heart throughout her life. In spirit form, Jesus would appear to her and they would talk about things most children are interested in, such as snowflakes, Jack Frost, the moon and butterflies.
Up until the age of sixty-one, Mary Ann's relationship with Jesus was always personal and about her immediate world. Then in 1994 - widowed, children raised, and working as a traveling occupational therapist - Mary Ann was made aware of her healing gift through a physical therapist. She questioned what to do with this gift. With much prayer, she laid herself before God, gave herself up to Him and allowed direction to come from within. Playing a part in healing others profoundly altered her life.
In 1998, Mary Ann had what the doctors thought was a stroke, with paralysis and weakness. Once again, she could only look to God, and asked, "What can I possibly do for You now?" Still, with the sudden limitations, came blessings. She smelled beautiful fragrances that permeated her whole being to the point of being able to taste them. Profound energies would flow through her from out of nowhere, putting her in states of bliss, healing her quickly. She felt protected by God, and began to write poetry and prose.
A few months later, Mary Ann visited a yoga retreat, Song of the Morning, in the upper part of lower Michigan. There she met George and in the spring of 2000, they were married. They built a lovely home in a spiritual community nestled within this woodland retreat, where Mary Ann writes and George edits her writings.
It was from here, in 2002, that Jesus said to her, "You did not have a stroke. You had an awakening." Questioningly, she said, "I had many symptoms of a stroke, including partial paralysis...." Jesus replied, "Saint Ta, you had an awakening that connected you to your higher creative power and higher realization of God's graces by expanding your brain activity to higher dimensions of wakefulness."
At about this time, Jesus and other enlightened beings appeared to her in her home and told her "Saint Ta" was to be her spiritual name. They encouraged her to share her experiences by writing a series of books, through which they would reach out to humanity with their words of guidance, inspiration and comfort.
At first, she had doubts about her new name and making public her sacred experiences with Jesus, but in her hesitations, she received continuous encouragement from Jesus, who refreshed and supported her through fragrances and blissful energies, through His divine presence, and through His counsel.
When she asked, "How can I share these sacred words?" Jesus answered, "Saint Ta, there is nothing you can take with you except love. You are love. You must leave behind knowledge for others to learn from, even the knowledge you hold dear to yourself. There will be some who will understand and some who will not. Write, with your creative freedom of speech, for the sake of all others, while you can."
