Samuel Voight, Jr.

Samuel Elmer Voight, Jr., served in the United States Air force from 1977-1981, where he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. He received an A.A. in Social Science from Yuba College, a B.A. (1983) in Psychology from the University of California at Chico, and an M.A. (1987) in Counseling Psychology from National University.

Mr. Voight worked as a crisis counselor for Butte County Mental Health from 1984 to 1986. He was a Group Home Counselor for Stanford Memorial Home from 1986 through 1987. He then worked as a Rehabilitation Counselor for Turning Point and Starting Point from 1987 through 1990. He also served on staff at Capital Christian Counseling Center in Sacramento, California, as head of Target Ministries until 1992 when he began a private practice. He has also served on the National Council on Alcoholism, New Horizons, and the Child and Family Institute.

Mr. Voight became pastor of Restoration Ministries in 1992 and continues his counseling practice in Carmichael, California.
