Darlene Weinhold

Author of  Peace Within

Darlene Weinhold grew up in a rural area of Missouri. She graduated from University City High School in St. Louis, the alma mater of Tennessee Williams. She received a Bachelor's Degree from Southeast Missouri University and taught English and Journalism in Pershing County, Nevada, and Monterey County, California.

The author did post-graduate work at the School of Journalism, University of Nevada, Reno, and later received a Juris Doctorate from Western State University in Orange County, California. She practiced law in the City of Orange from the late '70s to the early '80s and taught classes part-time at Cal State Fullerton and University of California, Irvine.

She later returned to northern California where she practiced social security law, business law, and estate planning. Currently she is writing, teaching, and practicing law part-time. In addition to Peace Within, other completed works are A Light in Your Heart, Muhammad Comes Again, Revelations of 2001, Messages from Chief Bocaw, and Fireside Tales from Around the World. Plays include New York Close Up, Transition, and The Coffee House.
