William Pless was born into a large family in Alabama. His father was a Methodist minister and his mother was a devoted and caring homemaker. William found his pleasures in Nature and the things of mind and spirit. By the time he was a young adult, he had developed independent thoughts about spiritual matters.
William received his secondary education in small-town schools scattered over the northern half of Alabama. His love of knowledge and the arts was reflected in devotion to his studies. Five months after graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Marines, where he received intensive training in aircraft electronics and served in the war theater of South Korea. After leaving the Marines, he entered the University of Alabama and graduated with a B.S. in Physics.
William worked in the aerospace industry, specializing in writing technical reports, evaluations, and proposals for new businesses. After his retirement, William became involved in spiritual exploration that changed his life dramatically. After discovering that the spiritual world can be a source of unlimited wisdom, he yielded completely to God's Will to make him a messenger.
