Known as the Southland's "Angelita de la Noche," Josefa's silky smooth yet commanding voice has delighted listeners up and down the coast for twenty years. This breakthrough female Latina personality has become a role model for women and a powerful symbol for Latinas.
After studying psychology and political science at the University of Michigan, Josefa worked in juvenile probation, but felt the need to use more of her talents. She held down broadcasting positions in Talk, Jazz/Newage, Hip Hop, Urban AC, Urban, and Crossover formats. She has become a powerful and respected community leader and champion for the underserved. As a manager, she has successfully shaped the careers of many artists and producers, most notably Grammy award winner Coolio. Josefa divides her time between radio, writing, and rasing her seven-year-old son.
