What Is Prayer?
In the beginning, when God set up the natural and physical laws of the Universe, He also set up your ability to seek His help. You call it prayer, but there is no magic in this word; it could be called petition or any other word.
The act of praying is not what sets up your answer. The repetition of your prayers at times helps you acquire the right mindset, but this is activated in your mind by the uniting of heart and mind.
When you have activated this mindset, then you will know what it feels like. It takes your desire, the agreement of your heart and mind, and faith that God will answer. The words or ideas of The Lord's Prayer are set up in such a way that they activate the opening of the switch, or the turning of the dial, to the answer of your prayer.
God is in the hearts and minds of those who do not fear Him and who welcome Him. Bring this Great Creative Spirit into your heart to fill your heart with all manner of good emotions - love, respect, honor, caring, kindness, compassion, peace, plenty, hope, and so much more. Bring God into your mind to help you discern the truth of all things. God is willing and able to show you the way to think correctly, but only if you invite His help.
